2021年10月5日，山東省打擊樂藝術協會在中國山東省青島市舉行的“2021‘頌黨百年•獻禮華誕’非洲鼓世界紀錄挑戰活動”，共有 2021人同時演奏非洲鼓——《紅旗飄飄》、《沒有共產黨就沒有新中國》、《歌唱祖國》等曲目，創世界紀錄協會“世界上最多人同時演奏非洲鼓”世界紀錄。

The maximum number of persons to performance the tracks by using the “Djembes” at the same time in the world -- The “Djembe” world record challenge activity with the theme of “2021 celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China”

On October 5, 2021, the “Djembe” world record challenge activity with the theme of “2021 celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China” was held by the Shandong Percussion Art Association in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China. With a total of  2021 persons to performance classic tracks such as “Waving Red Flag”,” Without the Communist Party, There Would Be No New China”, “Ode to the motherland” etc. by using the “Djembes” at the same time, this set the world record granted by the World Record Association for being the maximum number of persons to performance the tracks by using the “Djembes” at the same time in the world.
